On October 14, 2016, Global Tone Communication Technology Co., Ltd. (GTCOM) signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Alibaba Cloud at the Computing Conference. The agreement was signed by GTCOM CEO Eric Yu and Alibaba Cloud Vice President Yu Sicheng on behalf of the two sides. The strategic cooperation will mainly involve machine translation, big data, and artificial intelligence.

Through the strategic cooperation, GTCOM and Alibaba Cloud will join hands to build the language capacity layer and the big data analysis capacity layer for global users and provide comprehensive services to help them explore innovative big data applications. Meanwhile, the cooperation will also accelerate GTCOM's global advance in the cloud computing and big data sectors.

In addition, at the AliLaunch closed-door meeting held on the 13th, Eric Yu introduced to Alibaba Cloud's partners the progress GTCOM had made in the building of its language service capacity and big data analysis capacity. In the future, the two sides together will provide better and more efficient services to global users.
